Back around 1980 I filmed (not videoed) 3 different village groups from Pelagonia (south-central N. Macedonia) dancing the “standard” 10 measure Pajduško (4+3+2+1) in 5/16 (2+3) but they did it “inside-out”; by that I mean they started with 4 step-hops (2+3) instead of hop-steps. The dance feels really different and has a much more “up” feeling when danced that way.

Small detail: in Romanian the name is written as Paidușca (not Paidushca).
